Places to see in Manali
Rohtang Pass:- Rohtang Pass situated in Pir-Panjal Range of Himalayas. It is the entryway for the tribal district Lahaul & Spiti. Rohtang is the highest point of the region at the altitude of 4,112 meter from the sea level, on the Manali to Keylong road, 50-km approx. from Manali . It gives a wide scenic view of mighty mountains rising far above clouds which seems below the feet and makes the visitor feel exhilarating and is a breath taking sight. This is the place where tourists can view the snow at all time, the eye meets a series of giant glaciers, steep rocks,s, and deep rivulets.
The Rohtang pass opens for public normally after mid-June and officially closes in November month.

Gadhan Thekchoking Gompa:- Around the bottom of the Mall in Manali Gadhan Gompa indicates the Tibetan area. This Gompa is been built by Tibetan refugees after their exile. The Gompa as all other Buddhist temple is covered with coloured frescoes and a Buddhist statute.This Gompa carried the names of the martyrs killed in Tibetan freedom fight in of 1987 to 1989.
Solang Valley: Solang Nala or Solang Nullah is a lovely valley within the height of Himalayan Mountains. This is the sub- valley of the Kullu valley on top of it.
